Just checking out the website, very well presented as is everything the ZZOCM puts together.
Good to see a few of the original members still hanging in there.
Bumped into JP at the Bendigo Swap Meet back in 2004 or was it 2003 John?
I have relocated my business back to Melbourne after several years in Wagga NSW & would like to try and catch up to some old friends from the ZZOCM at some stage soon.
Regards.

Guys I would just like to say how fantastic it was to catch up with some old friends at the convention. Sheelagh and I really enjoyed the couple of days we were able to attend and having been around at the very beginning of the club I realise how sorry I am that I lost touch with everyone. The ZZOCM hasn't changed, everything still runs like clockwork and the organizers should be justly proud. I'd also like to thank John & Marg Peterson for allowing Sheelagh and I to hitch a ride to Queenscliff in John's 'Viagra on wheels'. The chiropractor says I should be OK with a few more adjustments. Once again, well done. I will definately re-join the club and look forward to getting to some meetings soon with Fleggy.
Kind regards, Grant Tasker.

Well, that's it then. The Convention has come & gone. In my humble opinion only, it was a huge success. The weather was kind to us, the venues were outstanding, (although a certain Hotel has a cheek to call itself, 'International' - but again, my opinion only).

Stastically speaking, there were 215 people in attendance throughout the Convention, 88 magnificent motor cars on display and they all looked a treat travelling to Queenscliff & Lorne.

Great participation by all, great commeraderie, a hell of a lot of laughs, fabulous food and great company.

On behalf of the Chairman & Committee of the Zephyr, Zodiac Owners Club of Melbourne Convention Committee, we would like to to sincerely thank all who participated in this wonderful event. Those two words don't seem enough, but until 'they' can come up with something that means more, 'thank you' it is.

cheers to one & all

With regards to all the rain.
Its been wet south of Sydney but not wet enough to close any roads that I know of.
North of Sydney has been wet, wet, wet and there have been road closures. However, its my understanding that most of the problems are along the coastal strip between the Pacific and the Great Divide. I havent heard anything about inland routes and assume they are all OK.
IMO, It'd be a good move planning an inland route, if only for peace of mind, as I feel sure that the slower coastal trip would have delays and detours due to road repairs. But I'm no expert and its just my 2 bobs worth. Whatever your choice, travel safely.
Just 4 sleeps now. Looking forward to putting faces to names.
